Catch Up

June was a big month for Galina. Cousin Christian came all the way from Texas to visit for three weeks! We celebrated Galina's 1st birthday a bit early because Brian was sent to the big island for about six weeks (he's still there actually...) and would be gone on her actual birthday. She enjoyed her carrot cake cupcake! We also gave her a Galina-sized chair to read her books in. She LOVES it! We went to Build-A-Bear and Galina picked out a bunny rabbit to make. She named it Cinnamon. Amongst all of those big things, Galina managed to spill noodles all over the kitchen, not once but THREE TIMES! You'd think I'd have learned... Chrisitan and I enjoyed the Dole Pineapple Plantation (and lot's of other things that I'm waiting on pictures from Christian for..hint, hint...). I also had to document Galina in her bedroom with Grover and her yellow blanket. If we go into her room, at any time, she will crawl over to her crib. Stand up, reach through the bars, grab her blanket and stand leaning against the blanket and the crib. She also loves her grover. I actually bought a spare one today because he gets washed so much. She also chews on his nose, which is kind of gross... Anyhow, just had to document that! It was a big month. We loved having you here Christian!!
