Today was Galina's first Sunday in nursery. I didn't take any pictures, just wanted to document for myself that she did fantastic. Brian didn't want her to go at all, but we both walked in and let her look at all of the toys. The first thing she chose to play with was a big plastic airplane that she could sit on and rock. Pa-Paw and Gaga, I think she's going to be a pilot one of these days. The girls loves flying and talking about airplanes!
I watched her get settled and then had to go do sharing time in primary. Brian stayed with her for awhile - I think through Sunday School and then he went to Priesthood. We both checked on her at different times and she was fine. Just wandering around, playing with different toys. She doesn't share, but I'm guessing she wasn't told "No" or anything because she usually breaks down in tears when someone other than me and Brian tells her "No". Brian picked her up without me, which of course I was sad but what can you do, and she was happy to see him and then me. She ate an entire pb&j sandwich during sacrament and I think they had raisins and pretzels in nursery - which I'm sure had her full attention. She emptied her water on the way home, got a diaper and clothes change and went right down for her nap.
Galina is a fantastic girl. I can't believe she's already in nursery. *sniff*sniff*

Good to here that Galina did so well her first time.
Yay for Galina!!! That is wonderful!! I bet that is because she knows you are going to come back!! I did a bad thing just dropping Gabby off. I think with the next one, if Grandma isn't in there anymore, I'll make sure to stick around a bit and help her become more acclimated!! Go Galina, she is such a big girl!!! =0)
Gunner is 4 months away and counting. They let us put Sophie in at 15 months and it was amazing. Nursery is great. Glad she liked it.
Nursery is good for us now..the 1st time we dropped carter off...he cried so hard he made himself throw up! Crazy kids..
I think it was worse on me though.
Now he just waves bye and gives me a kiss!! Much easier!
