These are in no particular order...

On our way home from the hospital - Sunday morning, June 5, 2011
Just before leaving the hospital!
I was SO excited to leave that hospital.
For some reason it was really hard to be there for 2 entire days and 3 nights.

Long, skinny fingers.

Long, skinny feet (and legs)!

Sprawled out.

Just after being born :) He sure did come out screaming.
June 2, 2011 - sometime after 11:40 p.m.

Hanging out with Daddy in the delivery room - waiting to go to recovery. Granny had already taken Galina home to bed. It was about 2 a.m.
Getting spruced up to come and see Mommy.
And, we're good. I'll never cut my hair short again...
Galina introducing SeaLion to Johnny.
I think this was Saturday morning, June 4th. I thought I was going home that afternoon, so I was in the mood to take pictures.

We may have a thumb sucker on our hands.
Sleeping in Mommy's hospital bed on Saturday afternoon, June 4th. He got a rash his second day on earth. Luckily it went away before we got home.

Granny spent a very restless night with me on the second night...poor Granny.
Granny made Johnny his very own 'Welcome Home' sign!
Ummm...why am I in a girly carseat?

We may also have a born pessimist. That'd be from me.
Granny took Galina to McDonald's for a celebratory breakfast before we came home! Thank you to Granny for all that you did during those 4 days - and all you did before Johnny came and all that you're doing now that he's here...
Galina got so much candy, chocolate milk, fast food, etc. during the hospital stay. I hated having her hang out in the hospital room...but she didn't mind wandering around the hospital with Brian or Granny.
Daddy letting Johnny get some sunshine on Sunday morning.

So, this is Wednesday night, I think. We thought he looked so cute :) and serious.

Today, June 10, 2011 - Granny keeping Johnny warm while I got the table ready for a photoshoot :)

Galina entertained herself with Shirley Temple and Wendy's french fries while Granny and I took pictures of Johnny.
He was very patient with us.
Long, skinny feet.
Big yawn!
Loving the blanket Auntie Erin made!
Yee-haw.
Love his little cleft chin.

Rewind - this is in the hospital. Saturday, I think.

Today's photoshoot. He's so cute!
But, for a 9 lb. baby, he certainly doesn't have many folds.
This was Tuesday, and we FINALLY got Galina to hold Johnny. So far, she'll say anything to him, "Good morning" "Good night" "Love you" "See you later" - but hold him? Nope. I think she finally gave him a kiss goodnight tonight, but instantly afterwards said, "I don't want to kiss the baby."
Having Johnny home has certainly been a big adjustment. Galina is doing...okay. I'm so glad that Granny is here and that Brian will be home until this Wednesday. Between my crying and Galina's fits - well, let's just say, had I been by myself during all of this...it would not have been pretty. Hopefully we'll be into a pretty good routine by the end of this next four weeks...when we have to say goodbye to Granny. I'm crying thinking about it. So grateful for my Mom. And for a healthy baby boy. And for a patient husband. And for a crazy, almost 3 year old. Glad to be home, all together.
