Today is Johnny's first birthday!
He is a fun little boy!
He isn't quite walking, he'll walk a little if he's holding our hands, but then realizes that it's easier and faster to just crawl.
He loves bath time.
He can wave good bye and give hugs and kisses.
He loves to play with Galina's toys, especially her kitchen and doll house!
He wiggles and tries to get away during diaper changes.
He eats mountains of food - he can out eat Galina any day!
He can be rough! But doesn't really complain when he gets as good as he gives.
He's loud! Especially when it's time to be quiet.
He'll sleep all night (except for a social visit around 4 a.m.) but doesn't really like naps. It's tough to get him to sleep any longer than an hour, maybe an hour and a half, during the day - even though he "says" he's ready for his nap (i.e. starts waving good bye!).
He loves his Daddy! Smiles and crawls as fast as he can as soon as Brian comes home!
Loves Galina! She can make him belly laugh just by saying, "Boo!"
He's much more social than I have ever been - sometimes it's embarrassing.
He loves to be outside - but really wants to be moving when he's outside, either in the stroller, in the swing, in a back pack, or, on the rare occasion that he's allowed, crawling!
It's a lot of fun figuring out this little guy and the dynamic in our family nowadays.
I'm sad for people that choose to only have one child. This is challenging, but so, so rewarding. We're grateful for this little guy.

Happy Happy Birthday little Johnny!!! I cannot believe he is 1!!!!! I am so glad we got to meet him before he hit that milestone! =0) Can't wait to see party pics as well!!!!
