MATILDA!

We cannot believe that this little sweetie is ONE already! She is so sweet - a wonderful addition to our family. She loves her Daddy and Galina and Johnny! She likes the cat (even tries to say "kitty" when she sees him) and she is fascinated by the dogs. They're so big though, and old, that she doesn't get to crawl all over them like Galina did.

Matilda loves to sing and dance, and to watch her big sister and brother dance. Nothing makes her laugh faster than Johnny making a fish face and bopping his head side to side. She has discovered that she can cover up her eyes and play peek-a-boo with us - it's so fun to do!

She loves to look at books and she is very often happy to sit in a room and go through books and toys all on her own, but she is always happy to have company while she's playing.

Crawling is a go - and it took her awhile, but she is definitely crawling like a pro now, and starting to stand up along things and cruise. She figured out how to climb into our kid chairs and now we can't keep her out of them, but crawling out isn't as easy, so we try to keep her away from them if we aren't nearby.
