Galina Hippolyta Baldwin
Galina Hippolyta Baldwin was born on July 16, 2008 at 12:59 a.m. at Tripler Army Medical Center. She was 9 lbs. 5.5 oz. and 20 1/2 in. long - a big girl! She's absolutely perfect and Brian and I are doing great too - a little bleary-eyed - but great!

This is just as we arrived into the delivery room - I don't even think they had put my IV in yet, but it wasn't too long after this that we had a big baby girl join our family!
Of course Brian feels much better now :) I probably would not have been as excited had I been asked to look up! Thank you to Mom and Molly for being here with us and all of the help that they give and to our family - we love and miss all of you!
Thank you to our friends, both far and near, everyone has been awesome. Hopefully we'll be able to return the kindness.

This is Sunday before Galina was born - very anxious! We thought we'd see her early Tuesday since the hospital had scheduled us to be induced!
And here's Molly taking pictures of the Temple on Tuesday night while the rest of us were sitting impatiently in the Jeep - impatient because I was in labor - but we made it to the hospital in just enough time!

Katie, you are absolutely beautiful!!! I am so thrilled for you and Brain. You are going to make wonderful parents. I love how chubby Galina is. If you need anything, please let us know! How was the labor?!
Yay she made it! And you, too! She is a beautiful baby. I'm sure you'll start seeing some of you in her, they change so much at first. I loved the email recap you sent out... I'm just wondering if you were in time for an epidural! I'm way happy for you guys.
