Week 2

Okay, so we're going to go through this past week backwards, sorry - I don't feel like moving all of the pictures...again...

This morning we walked down to the beach, it was overcast, but at least it hadn't started raining.

Our family picture with the boys.
Brian's Mom and Dad, Thearsa and Richard.

Happy Birthday!
(it's an eclair cake and it didn't last very long...)

Everyone always gets to nap except the Mom.

Thought this was rather beautiful. You can see the little cirlce of a moon if you look closely. This was coming back from the North Shore.

This is Sunset Beach on the North Shore. They were having the Triple Crown surfing competition at the beach access before this, but it was way too crowded to merit parking for a few pictures.

This is Brian admiring a Lotus. Got me....

This was the beach before the Triple Crown competition. Very beautiful.

Brian and Galina, leaving the Dole Plantation.

A ukelele playing pineapple. Yep, that's my girl.

Enjoying the trolley ride through the pineapple fields.

Kind of enjoying the trolley ride through the pineapple fields.

Pineapple fields.

Still on the trolley...

The next few pics. are for Jason. This is the Tropic Lightning Museum on Schofield Barracks. Well this is a machine that tells the staff if it's too cool or hot or humid or something in the museum. Pretty neat.
This explains the little machine. I'm sure this is old news to Jason, just felt like sharing it with him.
Outside of the museum.

Well, week 2 of Brian's parent's visit has come to an end. They fly out tonight. We're all a little bummed. The weather was crummy today: rain, rain, rain. But, we accomplished a lot during the beginning of the week, before the weather turned. I didn't get pictures of the last two beaches we were at today. They were beautiful, very rough, but beautiful. We're going to miss Richard and Thearsa so much - it was a great visit, too short.
