A Dip...

Today, it was so beautiful outside, we decided to head to the beach and let Galina get her feet wet. She was lukewarm about the whole thing. She never cried, she didn't pull her feet up, but at one point she turned around and buried her face in my sleeve. I was letting her stand, and she was kind of wiggling her feet in the sand, she would laugh a little at the waves coming in. We sat on a towel on the beach afterwards and she just kind of looked around, laughed at the little kids playing near us. It was sweet. Looks like we have another fish in the family!

Brian also ended up helping some guy get his old VW Beetle going, leaving two scratches in our front bumper. Oh well, battle-scars - it's a jeep, gotta use it for something. Of course, once we left the beach, the same guy was stranded next to the flight line. Once again we helped him get it going, this time Brian and I pushed it. Brian had been hounding me all day to go jogging, so I got in a small workout...
