Galina loves to swing. She can be quite a daredevil with the swinging and spinning and and and... We discovered that she liked only the "big-girl swing" and to swing really fast a few weeks ago. It drives me crazy. I end up telling Brian, of all people "Mr. Cautious," that that's enough. That or I just don't go on walks because I can't watch it. She loves it though...
Pictures are a bit skewed from the phone - my phone, not Brian's fancy-shmancy new phone.

Well...this morning she and Daddy took the boys on a walk and stopped at the playground on the way home. Can you guess what's coming next??

Yep and she wasn't anywhere near this placid when they came in. We took her into the bathroom to clean up and told her that she looked like a cheetah. When she saw herself in the mirror she said, "Mommy I look like a cheetah, can't you take a picture of me so I can see it?"
So we did.
She also demanded Band-Aids. Nothing was bleeding, but she does have quite a puffy scratch under her left eye. Poor baby.
We're lucky she didn't break anything and that there really wasn't any bleeding. I'm grateful that the playground has this rubber-matting kind of stuff on the ground.
And luckily she still wants to swing!

WOW!!! Bet Brian had to walk around the loop again so she wasn't hysterically crying when they got home :) Or maybe she just remembers all of the hits she took from Julius! Either way I'm glad it hasn't deterred her from wanting to swing! She's such a big girl!!
Your dad nearly fainted at the first picture! Wow...glad she isn't THAT hurt. Dad used to push Emily in the big girl swing when she was half Galina's age...I reacted quite sternly! Love you all!
Gabby wants to be pushed in the swing high too. I can't do it. She'll scream "faster Mommy, faster", and I always say, "that's as fast as I can go"!!! Haha!! Galina is so cute. I love the band aid, and her little smile in the last picture! So sweet!!!!!
