We got to see a Sesame Street show put on by the USO. It was cute. 35 minutes = just right. Granny took our picture from our spot in line - I'd have had the whole background, but the place was FILLED with toddlers and to our left was a Mom jerking her daughter out of the way :) If Galina hadn't been so "cooperative" we'd have done a picture with Granny too!
This is an "I don't want my picture taken" face.

But this is a very happy little girl because Grover had just come out and seen her Grover, picked him up and patted Galina on the head! What a big moment to actually meet Grover! Galina even sported her Super Grover sneakers. EVERY kid had on Sesame Street clothing. In fact, a little girl from Galina's ballet class had on an entire Elmo FLEECE costume...HOT! But I guess if you love Elmo, you love Elmo...
All of the characters in this show. The show was based around the little girl in the middle, Katie. She's a friend on Sesame Street that finds out she's moving to a new base because she's military. So the rest of the show is about making her feel better.

Had to snap a picture as close as we could to the sign-post! The little toy she has is an Elmo light-spinner. They handed one to every kid (did I mention that all of this was free?) as we walked into the room!

Brian didn't get to see the show but he picked us up - thank goodness he dropped us off a little bit early and we didn't have to worry about finding a parking spot either!
Can you see Granny? She was there! She actually sat in a padded seat behind me and Galina because we weren't sure G would make it on the floor the whole time. So Granny saved us some seats that we didn't use because we were packed onto the floor like sardines. But we were glad Granny got to come and see the show!
