We aren't desperately blue, but we will definitely love it when springtime finally finds its way to our neck of the woods.
In the meantime, enjoy some more pictures of our snow!
This picture is completely unrelated to snow (minus the snow pants hanging beside her) but she's gotten into the habit lately of asking me to take her picture and she'll be doing silly things - mostly mimicking a Princess or a Queen...I think she's pretending to show me an earring here.
Back to snow. Johnny got up early on Tuesday morning and was first to see all of our snow. Yes, he's in jammies, and yes the door is open, and yes, it's 30° outside. We were waiting for the boys to come back in. Johnny will stand there and "call" the dogs and he'll rub his fingers together like he's snapping - which is how we call them in sometimes.
Getting himself a snack before breakfast. The boy loves to eat snow. So does Bing, by the way...hope there's nothing wrong with either of them!
I always miss the snow in the trees because by the time I remember to snap a picture, the wind has blown it all down or it's melted. Got it! Side note: Clean off your car when the snow is fresh. The next day is not a good idea because not only it is a lot of snow, it's also a layer of ice underneath and back-breaking work...
Brian is gone this week. To Oklahoma for training. It's just a week, but he'll only be home for less than two before he's off for eight more weeks. But, we want this. We want him to get his Black Belt Instructor tab and we're grateful that his unit is letting him go. Hopefully it'll help him when promotion time comes!
The kids have all been sick lately - some sort of cold/virus that ends with a rash. With Johnny's he didn't really complain about itching, but Galina is itchy everywhere. And anywhere she touches she gets a welt. Girly has very sensitive skin. I'm getting a cold and today my eyes have felt swollen and irritated all day - hoping it passes soon. Well, didn't mean to complain!
On a positive note - we paid off our truck. Thank you tax return. Trying to get out of debt (WAY out of debt) in preparation for next years possibilities. I could wish my student loans would magically disappear, but I suppose my degree was worth it, or will be, one day. At any rate, the interest rate and payments are low enough that I won't lose sleep over keeping that bill.
Now...to keep myself from filling that empty piece of plastic in my bag...

Student Loans are never ending. I hope the kiddos get to feeling better soon.
