November

I cannot believe that November is gone already. I do have a few pictures, which I will add later, but it was kind of a blurry month. Once Halloween was over, we tried to relax only to realize that it was already time for Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving was great - we did not take a single picture. Everyone was starting to come down with a bug that included fevers, aches, cough, runny nose, sore throat, etc. It's been fun. The actual meal, on Thanksgiving day, was great. We ate late this year. Five p.m. So it was already dark. Brian won a turkey in his VFD's turkey shoot a few weeks before, it was a 16 pounder, so that got cooked, along with another 16 lb. There were two hams, and then ALL of the fixins' too! Pies and desserts galore. I'm ashamed that I didn't take a picture. Not even of the kids. Being pregnant makes my brain not work very well, plus I had wanted to take family pictures that morning and that snuck up on me, and consequently, did not happen, so I was a bit aggravated from that too.

December is here and with it, Christmas program practices, the end of the semester for me and Brian (= PROJECTS & FINALS!) and trying to keep on top of homeschool + visit family when they come, well, it has already been a full week, and the first week isn't even over yet.

A family friend, Linda Hewitt, passed away on Saturday, and yesterday, Wednesday, was her funeral. This morning I have a dentist appointment. Tuesday morning I had to observe my mentor teaching at the college. Throw in the sore throat, and rattling cough, and, well...this week can end anytime.

Saturday, however, Dad, Jason and I are going to be selling some homemade crafts at an Elementary school's craft fair. We had to pay $45 to get a vendor table, so if we don't make at least double that, we probably won't be doing it again. I'm a little bit frustrated with the school too because not only did we pay to get a spot, but then had to donate something to their "raffle" and NOW they're asking us to donate a baked good. That part is not going to happen, and too bad for them. Enough is enough...anyhow, pictures to come of all of that later, plus whatever is on my phone from November!

I will have to post December stuff separately - when we aren't all sick and miserable :) Happy disinfecting!!
