This is a galapagos shark, swimming incredibly close to me. Aren't they mean looking?

Here you can see the little piece of plexi-glass on the left that covered the huge hole in the cage - no such safety on the right side of the case...except bars a little bit closer together. They had dumped chum off the boat, so the sharks were having a snack...

You can see that we were connected to the boat by a few green ropes. That's it. Just barely, behind the guys head in the white tank-top, you can see Brina's head. He was just trying to stay still poor guy...not worried at all about his wife surrounded by sharks...hmm...

Yes, he's swimming right towards me...

He's swimming right past me...they are scary - even now looking at the pictures makes me nervous: )

Anyhow, I just wanted to share my pictures from underwater with the sharks. I did actually do it...amazingly enough.
