Merry Christmas

These are, of course, backwards - but we had a fantastic Christmas eve and morning! We've officially joined the world of having a child wake us up at the crack of dawn (well, okay, 5:30 a.m.)! Galina was up early, but Johnny waited until 8:00 a.m. Galina's face was perfection! She was so excited to see that Santa had brought us presents! Even Johnny was excited to see all of the toys! They both instantly wanted to ride the hobby horse - I guess I'm glad they got up a different times! We even had time to eat breakfast before Johnny got up, so he got his plate in the living room. The kids loved all of their presents! We had a very tiny bit of snow fall last night, so we woke up to a little dusting - enough that we could go for a walk and then attempt sledding again. We also did an advent calendar from the 2010 Friend. It was awesome to read the scriptures every night and to hear Galina tell me things about the birth of Christ. She looked forward to it and so did I. Next year even Johnny will be helping to put the ornaments on the tree. Well, Merry Christmas!
